Mulled Wine

A light, fruity take on traditional mulled wine with a citrusy and slightly sweet twist!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Crushed Tonic (Watermelon, Lucuma, or Unflavored)
  • ½ cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ cup red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot works well)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional, for warmth)
  • 2 cloves (optional)
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients – In a small saucepan over low heat, mix the wine, lemon juice, honey, and Crushed Tonic. Stir well.
  2. Add Spices (Optional) – Toss in cinnamon and cloves for extra depth.
  3. Simmer – Let the mixture warm up gently for 5–7 minutes. Do not let it boil!
  4. Strain & Serve – Remove from heat, strain out spices if used, and pour into a cozy mug.
  5. Garnish & Enjoy – Add a lemon slice or cinnamon stick for extra flavor.

Pro Tip: For a more traditional mulled wine, swap out some lemon juice for orange juice and add star anise or nutmeg!
