Grapefruit-Rosemary Crushed Tonic Electrolyte Cooler

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup fresh grapefruit juice

  • 250 ml tonic water (chilled, lightly carbonated)

  • ¼ tsp sea salt or pink Himalayan salt (electrolyte: sodium)

  • 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional, for natural glucose)

  • Crushed ice (generous amount)

  • 1–2 thin grapefruit slices (for garnish)

  • 1 sprig of rosemary (for aroma and presentation)


Instructions:

  1. In a shaker or jar, combine:

    • Fresh grapefruit juice

    • Sea salt

    • Honey or agave (if using)

  2. Stir until the salt and sweetener fully dissolve.

  3. Fill a tall glass with crushed ice.

  4. Pour the grapefruit mixture over the ice.

  5. Top with chilled tonic water (pour gently to keep fizz).

  6. Garnish with a grapefruit slice and rosemary sprig.
