Watermelon Electrolyte Refresher

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon (cubed, seedless)

  • 1½ cups cold water (or coconut water for extra potassium)

  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp)

  • ¼ tsp sea salt (or pink Himalayan salt)

  • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for taste & glucose)

  • Ice cubes

  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)


Instructions:

  1. Blend the watermelon in a blender until smooth.

  2. Strain through a fine mesh sieve (optional, if you want it smoother).

  3. In a pitcher or bottle, mix:

    • Watermelon juice

    • Cold water or coconut water

    • Lime juice

    • Salt

    • Honey/maple syrup (if using)

  4. Stir well or shake.

  5. Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint if desired.

  • Salt: Replaces sodium lost through sweat
